1. Base Fittings

Loosen four wing bolts. Ensure that the four locking nuts have disengaged from the track by pressing the loosened wing bolts against the side of the brace.

Raise knee to match the bend in the brace.

Adjust length of brace so there is around 3” from the bottom of the foot to the floor.

Retighten four bolts ensuring the nuts fully recess into track.
Quick Tips
  • After loosening the bolts, you may need to push them in toward the brace in order to disengage the nut from the indexing slot.
  • It can be helpful to remove one nut from each side to make it easier to adjust. When reinstalling the nuts ensure that the side with the raised lip (Red Line side) is facing the bolt so the lip can reengage the indexing slot.
2. Initial Patient Fitting

Sit at the edge of a chair.

Unfasten the three thigh straps on the upper side of the brace.

Invert brace and slide over the leg. Pull brace around thigh.

Fasten three thigh straps with moderate tension around the thigh.

Wrap calf strap around the calf and adjust strap length to lightly tighten around the back of the calf.
Quick Tips

• After removing the brace it is a good idea to reattach the Velcro straps to themselves so they do not try to attach themselves to everything else.
